The SwitchBot Bot allows you to retrofit existing appliances or light switches in your home, without the need for replacement. It is effortless to set up - just peel off the 3M sticker and attach it to the switch or button in just 3 seconds. Note that before the first use, you should remove the plastic battery isolation tab.

Simply place the Bot next to the switch or button you want to control, no tools required. Then, just tag the icon in the SwitchBot app to turn the switch or button on and off remotely. The Bot can push or pull the switch, depending on whether you use the built-in arm or the Add-on attachment.

The scheduling feature in the app allows you to automate your appliances. You can set a schedule to turn your coffee machine or light switch on and off at specific times. Additionally, you can set the Bot to repeat an action at a certain interval, though this feature may accelerate battery consumption and wear on the Bot's arm.

The SwitchBot Bot is compatible with most rocker buttons and one-way switches, but not toggle switches or touch screen buttons. It may not work with overly rigid or aged buttons.

SwitchBot's power-saving technology enables the Bot to operate for up to 600 days on a replaceable battery. You can also utilize the Sunrise/Sunset mode to have your appliances automatically turn on or off based on the time of day.

For more control options, the SwitchBot Bot can be integrated with the SwitchBot App, Remote, and Hub (sold separately). The Hub allows you to control your Bot from anywhere, as well as enable voice control through Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri, and SmartThings.

Additionally, the SwitchBot Bot is now supported through the Matter protocol via the SwitchBot Hub2 (sold separately), which enables integration with the Apple HomeKit ecosystem for a seamless smart home experience.

When setting up the Bot, ensure that there is at least 1 cm (0.4 inches) of space for the sticker, and allow 24 hours for it to fully adhere. If using the Add-on attachment, make sure the surface is clean, flat, and has enough room.

The Bot applies a strong, yet gentle, force to most switches and buttons, with a maximum swing angle of 135 degrees.
